Non-Punitive Reporting Policy Statement

At 7AIR, our goal is to cultivate and foster a generative safety culture where employees and customers are encouraged and comfortable bringing safety concerns to the attention of management.

1. No Retaliation: No individual will be penalized or retaliated against for reporting safety issues to management. Safe operations are 7AIR’s highest priority. To uphold this commitment, it is essential that all incidents and occurrences affecting the safety of our operations are reported without hesitation or fear of reprisal.

2. Employee Responsibility: We ask that every employee take responsibility for reporting any information that may impact flight safety. Employees are assured that reporting safety concerns in good faith will not result in disciplinary action. This assurance promotes timely and continuous safety communication.

3. Disciplinary Exceptions: 7AIR will not initiate disciplinary action against any employee who reports an incident or occurrence related to flight safety. This policy does not protect employees who knowingly engage in criminal activities, willful regulatory violations, or intentional non-compliance with international laws.

4. Safety Reporting: 7AIR provides a confidential safety reporting system through the SMS PRO database. Employees can report flight safety concerns through the SMS PRO database, which is designed to protect their identity.

5. Commitment to Safety: All employees share the responsibility of fostering a proactive safety culture, ensuring that 7AIR maintains its leadership in upholding the highest standards of flight safety for both customers and employees.

6. Retaliation Review Process: Employees who believe they have experiences retaliation for reporting safety concerns may formally request a review with the Director of Safety and their immediate supervisor to ensure a fair and transparent resolution.

7AIR Employee Reporting Policy

As outlined in 7AIR's Non-Punitive Reporting Policy, no employee shall be disciplined or discriminated against for reporting health or safety concerns to company management. A strong safety culture depends on open communication, trust and teamwork. Employees should feel confident that unsafe or unhealthy conditions can be addresses without fear of retaliation.

Our primary objective is to enhance safety, and we recognize that unreported hazards cannot be corrected. The success of our Safety of our Safety Management System (SMS) and accident prevention efforts relies on the active participation and commitment of every employee.

Exceptions to the Non-Punitive Reporting Policy

While the Non-Punitive Reporting Policy protects employees who report safety concerns in good faith, it does not extend to cases involving reckless or willful violations

Reckless Violation: This occurs when an individual knowingly takes an unjustified risk, despite recognizing the high probability of harm. Unlike negligence—where a person fails to recognize a risk that should have been identified—recklessness involves a conscious disregard for safety.

Intentional "Willful" Violation: This applies when an individual is aware of the risks and potential consequences of their actions but proceeds regardless.

Any incident that may warrant discipline will undergo a thorough investigation, with the results reviewed by Management before any decisions are made. Disciplinary action will only be considered if the actions in question contributed to, or resulted in, a serious safety incident.
